I'd really like to see a closer develop a nasty curve or knuckle curve or some variation of a curve (12-6 even). Something to really get the guys to chase. Fastball you can throw center cut & the batter will just sit on it. Meanwhile if you have a devastating breaking pitch, if you command it well & hits your spot, you'll get hitters to chase 9x out of 10, that's why Munoz needs to really on his sinker more. Don't really so much on your slider. If your gonna go up top with it to get them to bite I'd go above the lettering in that case. He just worries me every time he steps out there now. I still say give Brash a few more opportunities.
His slider is the best pitch in the game currently. ???

yeah, from 2022, can't open it

Wasn't the hype in spring training that Muni had developed a new pitch that was close to unhittable.

Yes, a changeup.

He's only thrown 14 all year, 12 of them to lefties.

It also has an xBA and xSlug of .000.

So maybe he should throw it more lol.

i remember someone talking about the confidence aspect with pitching, how a pitcher has to be 100% confident from when the catcher puts down the sign to when he releases the pitch that its the correct one. I could see Munoz just not feeling confident to throw it. If he can't feel 100% confident its better not to throw it
