There were just interview Gerrit Cole in the dugout. He was vaccinated, still got infected and still got sick. Said it was like a really bad flu.

My wife has it now. Stuffed up and can't taste or smell. Otherwise? Wouldn't have a clue she was sick. My boys and I get tested tomorrow, but non of us have one symptom. If the vaccine is why there are no or less symptoms? Fine, I guess that is a good thing too. But that sure isn't the picture we were painted, right?

Gerrit Cole must have been one of the three or four Yankees I remember reading about that were all vaccinated, and all got it. Ridiculous. If we are negative, my son still has to wear a mask for something like ten days when he is participating in football shit. I am just not real clear when the ten days start. For my wife, she has to quarantine for ten days, but from when the symptoms presented.

We have tickets to Sunday's game, so fingers crossed. Yeah, that is right, I am paying for another game. Still, I mostly kept my promise about not one cent while Lincoln and Armstrong are around. The last game I took the boys to, Marte was a rookie SS. I think Armstrong might have still been there then. The things I do for my kid. Giving this organization my money kills me!

He was signing autographs when we got down there bu we left him alone because we had nothing for him to sign. After he went out to start playing catch everyone else left. I set my son down by the rail to try and get some pictures of him with the field in the background. Ty Turned around and saw him and came walking over to give him the ball. Real cool dude.

Well, I was a Michael K. and Michael K. 2 on the Times, and believe me, I said it. And meant it. Not sure why expecting a team to make an effort to win before I spend money is a bad thing...but I don’t understand anything about BPJ, so makes sense.

From 1995 to 2001 that organization had every opportunity to improve good teams and go on runs, and pinched pennies instead. It was money or a refusal to part with youth that never panned out. I get that no ownership wants to lose money, it is a business, but this Franchise was all business.

So, yes, after we took a group with all that talent during that run and did shit like trade Tino, chase off the Big Unit and Griffey, made deadline deals for Al Martin and Joey Creek or Heathcliff Slocumb and Paul Spoljaric? Passed them off as impact deals? I got pissed...said no more would I give them money. Then I read Thiell’s book and knew I couldn’t.
