. ...and I think that's just because teams, especially before you get into the trade seasons of June and July, they just want to keep as many alternatives in play as possible. So, you know, if they can hide a veteran player on the injured list, they'll do that. If they have a player who can be sent to the minor league, they will do that sometimes. And so it doesn't surprise me that the Mariners would hang on to Mitch Haniger as a possibility. As you mentioned, he's a very respected player. He has had productive seasons. He's had a career that's been ravaged by injuries. And so they're going to want to give him as many chances as possible to show that he might be worth the return. Especially at a time when the Mariners haven't spent money. Right? You're talking about someone who actually takes up a fairly sizable portion of their payroll. They're just not going to dump that player without seeing him in regular season games, would be my instincts.

Buster Olney, seems pretty accurate in terms of Mitch haniger
Re: Final Spring Training Trip/Crib thread
My best Spring Training anecdote. I was at the practice facility watching the workouts and crossed the path where players and coaches traverse when going to and from the clubhouse and fields. I was looking the other way and Dan Wilson was jogging in from my left and I was looking to my right at players walking to the fields from my right. Dan tapped me on the shoulder and said he was sorry for bumping into me when I was clearly in the wrong. Salt of the Earth. Good Omen for the season imo.

Well Julio finally pulled the bat out of his rearend and drove into the deep part of the white Sox park. We scored 14runs and Luis held them to 1 run through 5 1/2. Robles is an aggressive lead off hitter and perfect for that role. Arrozarena followed Julio with his own jack. All in all it was a fun game at camelback park today. Darren gave us a wonderful place at Arrowhead heading for home in the morning, Enjoyed meeting Jason and seeing TLO again.

It’s another version of a “Watchman” which is inserted into the heart. Non electronic. It acts as a filter to prevent clots from escaping. It will allow me to get off blood thinners.
