I know sometimes it seems very easy to predict exactly what will happen in three years but I guess I need to remind you that three years ago the Royals and Broncos were reigning Champions, Obama was in the White house and Hillary was a lock to replace him in just a few months.
Altuve 29
Bregman 25
Correa 25
Springer 30
Alvarez 22
McCullers 26
Devenski 28
Osuna 24

Add in their future prospects Tucker (22) and Whitley (22), who were both regarded near top 10 in baseball. Even in 2 years we won't be close to them unfortunately
So maybe this begs a separate topic, but what, if anything, can the Ms front office do to simulate the success of the Astros over the last 8 or 9 years (taking into account the last couple years of their journey through the wilderness). It’s a pretty fascinating venture to study what they (Houston) did right, and try to set a course to follow the same path, but thought I’d throw it out there.

Clearly their future looks bright but so did the Dodgers until about 22 hours ago and now they are sitting home and the WC Nats are moving on. In fact the Astros season could still end tonight after all.
Not likely.

Hey, we have the CS to go yet. Astros will win the AL pennant. Not sure about the NL.

Thanks for that. Could everyone else make the picks for the LCS? Alas I was only 1 for 4.

I will go Yanks and Nats.

I will post the standings in the morning.

Well if you want to stay in the contest you might want to pick the NL as well. It will improve your chances of winning.

Cardinals. But I don’t have a chance to win because I didn’t fill out a bracket. Just kibitzing.

Ah I see that now. You can still enter if you would like. Clean slate after each round you just won't get points from the early rounds but I have a whopping three points so no big whup.
