The Mariners reportedly have signed 30-year-old utility player Dylan Moore to a three-year, $8.875 million extension that covers what would have been Moore’s first year of free agency.

Smart move for Dylan Moore. Basically, he's making a deal that bypasses the risk of being non-tendered, and gets him to 7 years ML service time. Of course, there is still the risk of getting outright released from the roster at some point before that, but the fact that he's under contract makes that less likely.

I wonder if Ty France is next.
