I'd love to see this-

Triston Casas and Wilyer Abreu

for

Randy Arozarena, Bryce Miller + filler or prospect

I just noticed that Jaren Duran has a Monster year with the Red Sox. 6.7 fWAR and 8.7 bWAR and a 129 wRC+. His value is $71M add Woo's is about $50M and Ford's is $21M

Would you do that trade?
His value comes from playing centerfield where we already have a premium defender. He's also just a 129 OPS+ hitter... Raley was a 129 OPS+ last year.

Boston has no incentive to trade him either... he's now the face of the franchise.
He is better than Randy who we could trade along with a prospect for an INFer.

If you're going to go that route... just trade for Luis Robert which wont cost you a top starter and prospect. Yeah, he had a bad year last year... but he's more of a power bat where they can fill out contact in other spots.

I would just keep Randy instead of doing that. He had a higher OPS+ in a down year than Robert's career OPS+

The point seems moot anyway.

They've told you they're going to get a couple infielders and that the OF is set.

Go get Brandon Lowe and Alec Bohm... add a righty who can play some 1B... there's your off season.

I think they overvalued Miller and undervalue Casas some, but I'm open to whatever deal they could pull off. Maybe attach Garver.

If Miller is overvalued and Casas is undervalued which I tend to agree, Garver would make it an even worse deal for the Red Sox.
