Isn't that a Jerry thing? Wilson probably has the gonads to stand up to him though.
Exactly. Zero reason they can't temporarily go to a 4 man rotation given they would get the same four days of rest. This will let us know who is in charge of such decisions.
I give Hancock one more start, he was serviceable last year, people have bad games.
As I say that, Johnathan Diaz selected and Hancock sent down

Hancock should have stuck with selling fabrics and craft supplies.

The big 3 all going to start in Everett again. I knew Colt would be there, I thought Laz might start in Arkansas. I am shocked Arroyo didn't.

So who are the pitching prospects to get excited about besides Hancock and Evans, because those two are looking like yesterday's trash.
Ryan Sloan and Jurrangelo Cijntje (had to look up the spelling) are the two main ones among the starters. Maybe Jeter Martinez. I think I read somewhere that his velocity has gone up.

On the reliever side, Brandyn Garcia and Hunter Cranton are two to keep aware of.
Michael Morales
Morales has gone missing. Can't find anything on him. Not on any roster. Might be injured.

Wow, can I pat myself on the back for bringing up Diaz as a possible replacement

Diaz is worse than Hancock. Hancock gave up a ton of fairly fluky, soft-contact knocks. Not sure why he had to be sent down.

Just two arms were taxed: Vargas and Bazardo. You go into Tuesday with Logan Gilbert capable of throwing 7 innings if you let the guy. And you still have four pen arms who had at least one day of rest.

Surprised they did that with the interest they have of using the day off as extra rest for their starters. So you plan on a pen day? Brutal

He isn't his replacement. He won't start. They just needed another arm in the pen.

Maybe they'll actually take your advice and skip the 5th starters starts when they can.

Dan said they are considering it. I will be impressed if they follow through. Zero reason our four best starters need five days rest EVER.
