Not sure how much longer they can keep Naylor hitting this high in the lineup... sub .600 OPS over the last 15 games.
AB's aren't competitive at all.

Lou Whitaker brought up to Detroit in 1977. Retired as a Tiger after the 1995 season. 2308 games at 2nd Base.
Alan Trammell came up to Detroit in 1977. Retired as a Tiger after the 1996 season. 2139 games at SS. Played a few at 3B, 2B, OF.
Both of then had more walks in their careers than strikeouts.
One can only hope.

Do you remember seeing Bob Gibson pitch? 2 earned runs in 9 innings is damn good. He gave up 2 in 90 innings in 10 starts.rockycola wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2026 6:28 pmLou Whitaker brought up to Detroit in 1977. Retired as a Tiger after the 1995 season. 2308 games at 2nd Base.

I'm not sure why they won't put Raley 3rd, Canzone 4th and Naylor 5th...D-train wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2026 6:43 pmAt least until Cal comes back with his sub 600 OPS. Hell... Emerson should be hitting higher honestly.

Well we knew it was only a matter of time before Castillo gave up a bomb .

Castillo at 82 pitches thru 5. Pitching well but is he at his limit? He's been through the Tigers lineup twice?
Flaherty's still in starting the 6th at 72 pitches.

Naysayers repent. Naylor doubles in Julio after he singles. Mariners take the lead!
