Which building ? Dexter Horton ? Or the one across the street that housed Bakeman’s (and their xlnt potato salad) in the basement ? DH was my home from 2006-2009.
The second and Seneca building with the green dome often referred to the "Ban Roll On" building. I was up there for earthquake in early 2000 and the whole building rocked as it was designed to do but I thought it was all over.

I used to go to lunch with my ex gf at Bakemen's. I am now at Spring and Western.
Ah, ok. I had a BF there. I was thinking of 2nd & Cherry.
Boyfriend? ;)

I was in my office in a 14 story building in Bellingham (9th floor) when the Nisqually earthquake hit. It was like riding on top of a bowl of jello. I swear the building moved 2 feet at my level. Probably closer to 1 foot.
Damn that isn't any Spring chicken of a building either.

btw the are finally almost finished take the viaduct down almost 19 years after it was deemed unsafe due to that Earthquake. The speed of government is amazing. I am looking forward to being able to take light rail from Kirkland to Issaquah when I am 97 years old.

Hope you're still patrolling this forum when you're 97. I'll be 25 and the Mariners will have 3 World Series Championships under their belt. (Can you spot the two lies in that last sentence?)
