I don't like Bregman but I can't fathom how carrying your bat to first is worse than flipping it. Its like everyone said, wow that's new, it must be terrible. lol

why don't you like Bregman?...if it had been the Mariners that drafted him would you feel the same way about him?

The M's couldn't have drafted him. They were busy trying to win with a shitty roster while the Astro's were in their last season of total tankage. He wears no. 2 cause he's upset the Diamondbacks didn't pick him... baby back bitch.

seems pretty happy in Houston, signed that $100 mil contract taking away his first two years of FA, never see a Boras client do something like that, something fans would get behind i would think...

oh i see, he is active on social media and ripped Trump, okay

As long as guys show uo & ball out everyday & give their max effort I don't give 2 flying shits what they do or say. Sometimes a little arrogance isn't such a bad thing afterall. If I'm a team that needs frontline pitching I'm doing everything in my power to acquire his talent. I don't get the hatred for this team. Why because they play in the same division & have had infinite more success than us, who cares. Love Bregman, great player. Love Brantley, Really love Altuve & Correra. You wanna be the best beat the best.

Cole was mad that he didnt get put in the game. In his mind he was finishing it out.
“I was upset, and my tone did not come off quite the way I wanted it to. One win away. We had the lead with eight outs to go. It’s just a tough pill to swallow.”
Hard to disagree with him. Fortunately it looks like his time as an Astro is over.

I'd still sign Cole. We need pitching plain and simple. At some point we have to start signing people that will be part of the long term solution for this team and a legit #1 starter would go a long way. He should be that for 5-7 years so if he piddles around for a year or two its not a big deal.

Okay, he's showing some remorse for his tone.... Good enough for me... Break out the checkbook Jerry. Cole can get revenge on Hinch by pitching in the division. He will have the high salary, but maybe also a chip on his shoulder to get back to WS and win it.
