I am sure Joe Maddon and Bochy and Joey Cora or AJ Hinch are into the numbers and are highly analytical but when they speak publicly they don't make you want to blow your brains out.

that is my point...Dipoto must not have hired SS for his ability to give pressers since he is so shitty at them, so the only other thing I can think of that could have swayed him was his analytics, that is what is driving the Mariner train, that is all they care about
