Why? DT

I would not mind the ST forum mentioned.

I remember a few times Geoff Baker stopping by the Times forum. I was arguing with Terry about the value and quality of one of Baker's articles that Terry got his hackles up over. I responded with something like: " Look, I will agree that Geoff is a bit of a pompous, conceited narcissist. As a beat writer that writes for the local paper and ball club it is like having someone with not only East coast bias issues, but also the Canadian all Mericans are gun nut types at the same time. But, once you get past his anti-homer biases you can see he is a smart investigative reporter who digs up the scoop." <--- or words to that effect.

Baker responded in the next post. That he thought that my thoughts were not far off.

Kinda cool that some of the 710 guys used to visit. I know the times also mentioned your forum party. Kinda cool that some of the local media types look us over at times.
It has nothing to do with the Forum. I'm just not a huge Goldsmith fan he's not my type of dude. I don't hate the guy but he's just a cheese ball

Anybody else think Goldsmith looks just like the kid from Superbad?

Goldsmith auditioning for the national roles. He seemed quite excited by the Calhoun homer.

Can we please get a booth of guys who love the M's and aren't just trying to move their way up the ladder?

Agreed, I feel the same way about Dave Sims. His favorite team isn't even the Mariners. His favorite sport isn't even baseball. Such a melonhead.

Yeah he's been on the struggle bus. Then again, so have the M's.

Suck is a multi-dimensional word. For babies it's a means of survival. For athletes it has completely negative connotations but when describing your wife or girlfriend it's a great compliment.
