Isaiah Campbell looks like a beast, wow
I like him and Kirby and I know Williamson has upside but I can't get past that 4+ ERA in college. Imagine if we had drafted a hitter with a .250 BA and a .725 OPS in college.
Williamson is definitely more of a project. I wonder how much his injuries affected him this last year. He is still pretty skinny, and should be able to add some speed to his fastball if he can strengthen the lower body after the hip surgeries and gains some weight. Good news is he was able to pitch 77 innings after the surgery, so the hips shouldn't be much of a concern. The biggest concern is probably the control. He had 89 K in 77 ip, but walked 36. If he can get that number down, the ER should go down as well. Campbell does seem like the better prospect of the 2, other than Williamson being a lefty.
Maybe he and Sheffield can become Bosom buddies.

LaStella and Puello are the newest Angel "Mariner-killers", joining Trout and Calhoun.

Moore gets picked off for the second time in the last two weeks and it costs the team at least one run. Does that get subtracted from his WAR? If this game goes to extras and then the Angels win, that should be an automatic -1.0 right there.

Will be cool to have him hit # 400 while on the M's. Then trade him. Should get a solid B prospect for him, if trading to Houston then get a top 100 guy. Corbin Martin would be great.

Cody Allen join the list of 3000 relievers that have gone from unhittable to punching bags for no discernable reason.

And thus is the genius of trading diaz for Kelenic, who could be an all star for 10-15 years.

Yep. In 43+ seasons only one Mariner closer EVER has remained good for more than two years: Kaz Sasaki.
