Moe... I hope you had the pleasure of reading my last 2 posts before they were deleted. There must be more moderators besides DT because I am sure he is open minded in terms of truths that are posted in our small battles on here. And that goes both ways...

I assure you that I am the only moderator. When I delete posts its when I determine that they are a detriment the forum with zero value added. Its also a hint that inane discussions such as arguing about whether girls throw better than boys needs to end. Thank you.

This thread didn't become "personal" until DMM engaged me. Re-run the tape.
You will see the SJW attacking first.

So I wasn't supposed to question what you were saying? I'm pretty good with acronyms, but what is SJW?

This is what started the exchange and was meant to antagonize. Now stop.
But you really gave away your old age with the "Throws like a girl..." statement. Apparently you haven't been watching the girls enough (maybe it goes with your old age) to notice that many of them throw better than boys... and probably you. Don't make me send Sue Bird over to your residence to kick your ass.

his card set a record

Is that supposed to bolster his credibility?
that is sales, so you tell me, does having the highest selling baseball card ever in its first 24 hours of release boost his credibility?

Not at all. Media hype does not equate to professional credibility.

It would seem more reasonable to assume that collectors see investment opportunity in the card due to it's symbolic value with regard to the biggest event of the year.
Besides, I didn't realize baseball cards were sold individually. Could it be that the company just decided to print a ton of them on their own?

I really don't know, sure its just part of the same conspiracy, Clintons behind it, maybe they bought them all
The baseball card manufacturer announced Monday that their sale of a limited-edition card featuring Dr. Anthony Fauci throwing the MLB's opening pitch has sold out at more than 51,000 cards, breaking the company's previous print-run record.

Well, like I said, I would think it has everything to do with media exposure and the symbolic nature of the card. Also, if it was marketed as a "limited edition" print that would probably cause a buying frenzy of sorts among collectors.

yeah, okay, all I said was his card set a record, obviously it has to do with media exposure, if nobody knew who he was, nobody is buying the card are they?
