The disappointing famrhands, poll.

Which prospect's poor performance has you the most anxious about the rebuild?

Justus Sheffield, (preseason M's #1 and top 100 unanimous) 5.91 ERA, or recent surge in AA including a no-no into the 6th.

Sheffield is the only real answer to this question. Lewis had already proved he was a bust prior to this season and though we hoped the other guys might be good its not like it was supposed to be a foregone conclusion like it was with Sheffield. I am not at all impressed that a 23 year old who had a cup of coffee in the big leagues can get AA guys out. We were hoping this guy could be our next Felix Hernandez and he clearly is not.

You could not be more wrong. Lewis was the 3rd highest-ranked player in his draft. He had a horrible injury and has fallen off the prospect charts a bit. But then there was Spring Training and he shows this line .393 .452 .857 1.309 :P in 31 PAs. The early-season slump down near .600 OPS  and then he goes off and gets the OPS well above :P .700 and now slumping again

But those two are the 2 top 100s
Bishop was more on there because he could have had regular pt with the mlb club vs 1 or 2 games because someone is banged up vs IL.

Swanson and DTW part of the Yankee trade and Swanson is a near top 100 type. DTW teased with an early hot streak but has fell off.

His Injury was 3 years ago. At some point you have to stop blaming the injury and just admit that he is not very good. He had a .711 OPS last year as a 22 year old splitting time between A and AA. Other than Short Season A Ball he has been a below average hitter at every stop in the Minors. If you thought he was going to be great you were fooling your self.

Lewis was the third ranked by the media maybe.

Every team before us passed on him knowing that. What did they know and why didnt we know it?

Sheffield by a long-shot.

Must be careful when trading with the NY Yankees.

Media capital of MLB.... players are over ranked.
