Miguel Sano, Gary Sanchez and Jorge Polanco are all from the Dominican Republic and are all about the same age as Correa.
I wouldn't be surprised if Correa was heavily recruited by these guys and they convinced him to give MN a chance.
The M's don't have much of a Domincan influence outside of JRod and 2x bullpen guys.

I think he sticks to his guns. How about any contract, Correa wasn't a long term contact. And the FO suddenly decided that after their big buildup to the off season?
