I remember a lot of people saying they weren't concerned about Kelenics terrible numbers in 2021 either.
Here we are and he's putting up similar numbers.
2021: .615 OPS
2022: .552 OPS
Julio needs to start swinging when it's close enough to be called a strike. We don't need him walking. We get it, you know the strike zone. Cool... Now smash the mf'ing ball when it's close enough to reach. We don't need our sluggers acting like table setters.
Vlad Jr. has a 5% walk rate and a 1.036 OPS. Swing the bat kid.

Comparing JRod to Vlad Junior? C'Mon, man!
It's still early in the season, lets have this same conversation at the AS Break before we label JRod a bust.

Vlad Jr’s first 13 games he hit .191 with a .517 OPS and lots of K’s.

The same clown that guaranteed JRod would start in AAA asked Divish why JK is getting heckled and JRod is immune to it.
Uh maybe its the 400+ more PAs that JK has had.
