Loving this trade as long as Wong doesn't pull a Frazier on us, especially in moving from Milwaukee to Seattle. I think he'll do pretty well. He's got some pop and is a plus defender (although Bil in the previous post says he sucks - don't tell us that, Bil!) who's recently won two Gold Gloves.

And if Winker starts hitting in Milwaukee it doesn't matter because he didn't hit in Seattle. Not to mention dumping Toro and presumably letting Frazier go.

So since Winker's gone, Lewis is gone, Haniger is likely gone, and playing Kelenic would be the stupidest thing in the history of everything, presumably we're still shopping for a good outfielder.

Hopefully they step up and get a guy that can actually hit at DH.

I don't doubt that Wong will be worse offensively than he has been, but Moore is who I'd have given the spot to anyways, so I'm hoping to see him get more playing time.

Trammell and Moore are underrated imo.

Didnt the report from Divish imply that Winkers work ethic compared to Hanigers really irked the team? This may open the door for a Haniger deal to cover dh and cof in a pinch.

Im not really all in on resigning Haniger, but it could be an economical and payroll flexible move that also keeps clubhouse chemistry rolling forward.

id rather sign judge tho. lol.

either way, i like the trade since im very sick of watching toro and winker fail to keep the line moving.
