Close to 4 WAR for $26MM, that's reasonable. The pitching is their down fall. They're giving up almost 5 runs a game as an NL team.

I don't know I just got in an argument with Divish in which he said there was no possibility of a team willing to pay Seager $30M over 3 years even though he has put up 2.7 WAR in 81 games this season. He is almost as bad as Churchill sometimes. Why those guys need to be surly pricks when someone questions them I will never understand.

One thing I'll give Churchill is that at least you can tell he actually played the game and understood at least some things beyond the stat sheet unlike Dave Cameron!

He knows his stats, he just doesnt know baseball. Trying to say stats on paper in the past won't translate to the field for any reason beyond the paper didnt mean much to him.
He would have heaped on with these guys when I said at the beginning of the season that Mallex Smith wasnt the same player, saying he would "regress to the mean". Dork sandwiches, all of em.
