You may want to check to see if anyone posted anything to Kelenic's mom. After all, she's the one who posted thank yous to the Mariners on social media on JK's behalf.bpj wrote: ↑Thu Feb 01, 2024 7:51 pmDid anybody ever hear of any of the guys on the team saying anything on social media when he was traded?
We joked about it a little but, but I really didn't even see any "good luck in Atlanta" posts or anything.
Which doesn't mean too much. I think it was Vogelbomb who pointed out they don't always post on social media, but I just thought it was a little odd that nobody said anything at all about him departing.
Unless I just didn't see it. Anybody else see anything online from the Mariners players about his departure?
Honestly, I run Kelenic down all the time - not because he's a crappy player, but because he seems to be a crappy human being. To me, he reminds me of the Gen Zers who bring their parents to a job interview. Seriously. It's a thing:

And because mom wasn't in the dugout when he pitched his hissy fit, his churlish behavior put him on the IL which impacted the team. I will stop disparaging the guy now. But the answer to your question, bpj, is "I don't know because I have zero social media presence, but it wouldn't surprise me if no one posted anything to him given that he shit in the nest on the way out".
Maybe they sent him personal text messages.
