I generally buy into advanced stats but at some point you have to employ common sense as well vs a number that clearly doesn't paint an accurate picture.

Nothing about the stadium dimensions caused the Mariners to K 15 times last night.

Advanced stats are great, but they aren't gospel. They certainly aren't a perfect science.

I just realized that the M's just did to Clase EXACTLY what they did to JK. Obviously massively more hype around JK but Clase is a top 10 prospect not just a guy. In 2021 JK was 21 yo and had only hit .257 in AA and only spent 3 weeks in Tacoma before his disastrous promotion.

Flash forward to 2024 and Clase only hit .222 in AA and only played in Tacoma for 12 games and they promoted him even though Cade was available.

They didn't learn a thing.

I am programmed to believe that AL Teams are better than NL.
Our pitching is typically better than anything the NL has to offer.
Atlanta has some nice players but I bet we smash Atlanta in the mouth this series.
