I heard Felix has a torn labia.
Clever.....but the Average Man would still shitt-his-pants if he had to face Felix on the Senior Circuit.

Love it.

No way did we pull a 100 MPH starter off the scrap heap.
I did find some evidence that it could be true:

Could this be the Dodgers pulling Rich Hill only better?

Ah crap nevermind, he is now a reliever so less excited than a scrap heap ace infusion.

I heard on the radio today that after the game Felix said it was just a bad day but he felt fine physically. So he is definitely on the IL with a phantom injury.

Holland just said he faked an injury.

Holland makes Felix look good lol. Sure...it's all Bruce Bochy's fault...

m hoping if Felix ever pitches at TMobile-PMS Park again, that the Kings Court adds 401 to the K chant.

Took me a moment to get that :)
Maybe the chant could include "I.R.A. Haz Ben"

Update on:
THE KING
By Steve Adams | May 14, 2019 at 6:48pm CDT

Mariners right-hander Felix Hernandez is expected to miss four to six weeks after an MRI revealed a Grade 1 lat strain, per Corey Brock of The Athletic (https://twitter.com/CoreyBrockMLB/statu ... 3884073984).

It’s really sad to see Felix pitching so badly. Minus the name, he’s really not even worth a roster spot.
Some players are able to reinvent themselves and extend their career – looks like Felix isn’t one of them.

Called it. He will soon soon transfer to the 60day and then be out for the remainder of the season. He’s likely thrown his last pitch as a mariner.

Too bad. At his best he was a top five. Couldn’t sustain it. I suspect he’s going to get some HOF votes but the career numbers aren’t there.

He’s like Johan Santana – huge peak but the career is too short. Koufax and Dean are the same way but for some reason they both sailed into the Hall. Felix is a better pitcher than Koufax or Dean. But, alas, he’s probably at the end. His contract is up after this season, and I can’t imagine he gets another contract from anyone.
I don't think he was ever quite as great as Koufax but at his best Felix had some greatness.

Wow, Felix and Koufax both had exactly 54.5 WAR.

I think Felix had more years to accomplish it... and pitched with a good UCL.

Calkins on Felix.

M's really have no clue when it comes to injured players. They put Seager on the 60 day DL and now he is pretty much ready to go 10 days before he is eligible. Have to give them credit though, usually the say a guy is only going to be out a couple days and he is out for months.

Kyle Seager (1x4, R, 2B, BB) began his rehab assignment with Tacoma (eligible to return from the IL on 5/25) & Matt Sanders hit a grand slam HR & drove in a career-high 5 RBI to lead Modesto to a victory. Here is today's #Mariners Minor League Report:
