God I hope the M's get him. I could even overlook the whole Ohtani fracas if they got Yamamoto.

The rumor is that the Phillies are still in on Yamamoto. Interesting that the Phillies want to extend Harper. They could be willing to go for a long term deal for Yamamoto, like 9 years.

Sign him and losing a Miller or a Woo to a position player doesn't hurt as much. Two splashy moves and our team gets instantly better.
