Cal is not an FA until 2028. They have him for almost 4 FULL seasons. I don't think he and Harry can coexist on the roster given neither has the bat to DH full time. Harry might be trade bait in a couple months.Juliooooo wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 1:23 pmThey need him to, because I don’t think Cal re-signs

Here is a good vid of Labrador's D.Juliooooo wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 1:27 pmLabrador’s probably has a good chance to make the league because of speed and defense. He has a pretty decent K rate as well. He’ll get some run as a 4th OF.D-train wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 1:17 pmSpeaking of Sr. citizens, 24 yo Cuban Labrada finally figuring out and should be in Ark. There are plenty of schlubs in the Travs lineup not worth their $27 per diem meal money. Julioooooooooooo is right though, other than 1 HR Williamson this is a graveyard in terms of future MLB regulars.

https://www.mlb.com/news/each-organizat ... e-coverageMariners: Tyler Locklear, 1B (No. 8)
Some of us may have been thinking Locklear could have started the year in Triple-A after reaching Double-A last year and hitting well in the Arizona Fall League. If he keeps this up in Arkansas, he’ll get moved up to Tacoma soon enough. The first baseman has a .990 OPS thus far (.316/.464/.526), walking as much as he strikes out while currently standing second in the Texas League in OBP and sixth in OPS.

Re: 2024 Prospects thread
M's bring up Clase who is 2 years younger than Locklear despite a pretty weak year with the bat in AA but keep Locklear down because they are wed to France and Garver who both suck....

20 home runs would be above average, but he was never considered a big home run hitterD-train wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 1:10 pmYeah I don't consider 15-20 HRs above average power. I don't think anybody does. It is average power and that is fine if he can stick at catcher which I have seen zero reason why he can't.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 12:50 pmThink that's the range he's always been projectedD-train wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 10:22 amHarry has been hot lately. After a horrid start up to .225/.799. Still has a great walk rate but still mid power in the 15-20 HR range.

There’s at least above-average power he’s still learning to tap into, and he can drive the ball to all fields. He’s a plus runner who swiped 47 bags over his first two full seasons of pro ball, and he has 20-20 potential at the highest level.
Re: 2024 Prospects thread
Laz is BACK!!!! Battled his way out of the biggest slump of his career (though tiny by JK standards ) Hit two bombs last night and now his OPS is head back up to 1.000. He should be in Everett next month. Cali is just only and INSANE hot streak. There is nobody in Everett other than Williamson so he should be there NOW.
Just a great lineup and this doesn't even include Emerson who I pray didn't have a setback.

Wow, Cali and Laz both have 16 Ks and 15 walks. What are the odds.... Cali has a .512 OBP. Slight difference between those two is that Cali is 4 YEARs and 2 months older.
