Pretty impressive night by the Mariners when you consider that Vogelbach and White are both in the lineup.

Matt McGill is one of the elder statesmen on the team.... 30 yrs old and parts of seven seasons in the Majors... He has a nice size and build on him.... six foot two, trim, strong and athletic.. I kind of like him for a journey man who has spent a lot of time in the minors...

Yep, he is getting frustrated and losing confidence.... this is not doing him any good at this point. He's tried being selective, being aggressive... nothing is working for him.

More on Moore: He has played 2x the games at (SS 221 games) than his 2nd played most position (2B 110 games) 3rd most played is (1B 103) and finally (OF 70). He was not a horrible player as a green horn playing everywhere .691 OPS

The first four hitters in the M's lineup are in a good spot, all hitting well. I like Lopes in the nine hole too. And I'm fine with Nola and Long in the five and six or seven... We just need a couple more bats to be competitive....
