players who accept the QO can not be traded until June 15 without their consent.
Yeah, so? What is wrong with going into the season with him and then trade him him after June 15? If he is hitting keep him and :o you have a hitter in your lineup. If he is not you trade him and get something back for him.

Carlson, Sadler and Scheiner gone which means another wasted 2nd round pick, one of Jerry's big RP dumpster dive wins was one and done and the Jay Bruce trade yields nothing.

Ahh, a hitting coach moving to a bullpen coach role.

Makes sense, our hitters got out way too often. Might as well share those talents with the bullpen instead of the hitters.

In what world does a hitting coach make a bullpen coach?

Do these guys even do anything??
And they keep DeHart who has been coaching a bunch of hackers that never change for YEARS.
A ML hitting coach really isn't there to change a guys way of swinging a bat after it's gotten him to the MLs. They are there to help with slumps and prepare them for the pitching they will be facing

What's wrong with it? If they had to keep Teo on the roster that would be the extent of their off season. They aren't allocating $20 mil for Teo to play right field and then bring in another significant piece to play right field on top of it

And that's the reason they didn't offer it. Dipoto saying they wanted to go after a different type of hitter. The follow up question being what was the chance of his accepting it? I think Dipoto's reply is, I don't know but I'm not willing to bet my off season on it. Because if he did, that's their off season

Surprised they are letting him walks after he was nails out of the pen this season. But we trade for clown like Bolton instead.

Sodo unearths a guy that I had NEVER heard of that seems to be a good trade target.
