19 year old in A ball slashing .313/.415/.566/.981 with 17 K's and 16 BB's.

I'd say that's pretty good.

Would expect him to jump into the middle half of the top 100's soon.
14.4% K rate 13.6% Walk rate.

Logan Evans logged arguably his best start as a professional on Saturday, spinning six innings of shut out ball. Allowing only two baserunners (a hit and a HBP) over the length of the outing, Evans K’d nine San Antonio batters and was pounding the strike zone like no tomorrow. Needing just 62 pitches to clear six innings

If he keeps this up gonna get a lot of run as the next big pitching prospect find

Trade him for a big bat.

I had the same idea but who is out there, on a middling to bad team, that would be worth trading any sort significant prospect value for?

He's my top prospect on the M's. He's a beast.

Montes has really jumped these last 2 years. 16 BB to 17 Ks in 115 AB. That’s shot 15 % K rate, and 6 HR at 19 years old. High A by July, and AA next year. He might get a run at mlb at 20 years old. He keeps up those numbers, he could be a top 10 prospect.

I'll take that all day and twice on Sunday! Supposedly he works out with Yordan Alvarez's trainer in the offseason.

Looks good, but keep in mind that his is playing against "lesser competition".
How do you think he would do in the biggs? Would the pitching break him?

He is only 19 yo. See the third Column AgeDif. He is 2.0 years younger than the average player in the league. He likely won't be in the Big leagues in 2026 when he is 21 yo. The fact that he is raking vs. older competition is a great sign that he will do it in the Big leagues as well.
