Harry is talented enough that he can do more than just catch. He should catch 60 and play LF the rest of the time. And Cal can get more DH ABs

Possible but he was drafted almost 3 years ago and hasn't played an inning in the field so doesn't seem to be the plan.
He’d immediately be a much better fielder than Winker, and maybe even Teo and canzone. I don’t think they see a need to have him train as an outfielder, but could easily have him do that next offseason if they deem it beneficial
Montes hit being a 40 seems low right now. Should be a 50+ with his current K rateD-train wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 9:41 amGood write up here.

Think about Clase. Fast as the wind. A great athlete and has played in the OF for YEARS and still has trouble tracking balls and taking efficient routes. Maybe Ford would be the next Guti or Julio out there but it isn't a lock. Playing C and playing in the OF are like two different sports.Juliooooo wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 2:15 pmHe’d immediately be a much better fielder than Winker, and maybe even Teo and canzone. If .327 with a .432 OBP as a 19 yo is a 40 or 50, what does a guy need to put up to be a 60 or 70. Vlad Jr was an 80. He is at least a 60 maybe even a 70 I'm.Juliooooo wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 2:20 pmMontes hit being a 40 seems low right now. The article has him at 30/40 hit and 30/30 run and fielding. Quite the prospect. Sounds like that huge guy they briefly brought up about 10 years ago.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 2:39 pmI didn't open the article, he was a 40 speed but i sure don't remember a 40 hit tool. You were saying he looked speedier
I’m sure he’s tracked fly balls. Is he going to be a gold glove fielder? Probably not. But with his athleticism he’d be able to do it better than some every day outfielders. See ball. Run after ball. Catch ball. Throw ball. It’s not rocket science.D-train wrote: ↑Fri May 10, 2024 2:25 pmThink about Clase. Fast as the wind.
