Well since he doesn't come up with the lineups this isn't true.

I don't believe dipoto micromanages to the point of making out lineups. There's not a reason to in the first place. He does supply the players. I doubt Wilson gets fired for utilizing the players dipoto signed in his lineup. I think the opposite more likely be the case

Absolutely when you have a plan you stick to it no matter what happens and what a massive failure it is. Like if you are an airline pilot and your Jet is suddenly losing 1000 ft of altitude every three seconds just stay the course and don't take any action at all, the plane will just magically pull out of it just before you crash and everything will be fine. If Jerry was the pilot of the plane that Sully landed on the Hudson river he would have hit the water in a nose dive at 600 mph.

I was thinking of asking Alex Mayer has there every been a team put a guy at lead off with 50+ PAs and a sub .150 BA and a sub .200 OBP 1/4 the way through the season in the history of baseball. I bet last night was a first.

There seem to be no consequences for lackluster performance. Cal needs to be moved down and earn the 2-hole back. Castillo needs to sit and figure it out. Wilson needs to go. Enough with the Mr. Roger's neighborhood approach. Time to try some fire and brimstone.
