FORE

I've scrutinized "Official World Golf Ranking 2026" and have chosen the remaining top ranked duffer from each category.
~
Cameron Young (3rd)
J.J. Spaun (12th)...................fwiw, Dustin Jonson is ranked 211th and Will Zalatoris 423rd
Kristoffer Reitan - NOR (25th)
Ryan Gerard (28th)
Jacob Bridgeman (27th)

4 Yanks and 1 Scandinavian is my team.
Note - just changed my #3 contestant from MacIntyre to Reitan (I picked Robert Mac and Moston chose Bob Mac) Sort of threw me off into the rough.
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

Use the list above - 1 from each group.

Deadline is Wednesday 10 a.m. PDT - to give me time to allocate everyone's 6th player, and of course the World Cup Semi Final is at Noon PDT - Eng v Arg.

For you Wildcard risk takers, Matthew Baldwin is ranked #779 in the world ;)
And he has been a member at Birkdale since aged 17, so local knowledge for sure.

If anyone is thinking of a punt I would go for him to be leading after 1st round. 200 to 1 at the moment.

Cheers all!

I haven't been on the computer much since last Wednesday recuperating from a left hip upgrade. This is actually the first time I have been at my workstation since then.

Great news, I am walking a lot.
I am no longer on the narcotics.
I am sleeping pretty well.
With any luck, I will be back to walking a few miles a day in another 2 weeks.

To my picks.

Sorry desbocoach, I wanted Clark...... ah, you can have him.

Morikawa (from the USA)
Griffin (From the USA)
Whichever of the Hojgaards finished better at the Scottish Open (and I can pretend that the DEN means Denver)
Sungjae
Laurie..... only because I have a SISTER named Laurie (and the GB means Green Bay, right?)

Let's all have fun.

Sorry I took first come first served literally, made it look like the order of draft was complete and it was a free for all
