Lookout Landing has a Game thread up and includes "How to watch" I guess millennials need to be shown how to watch TV?

Seems like 1000 years ago we left Japan in first place and the A's in last place.

Wildcard playoffs being one game is ridiculous. Why even bother? They should be a more fair 3 game playoff. That way the season could go into November!

Mostly I am just rooting against the A's. I love the fact that despite all of his supposed genius, Billy Beane has won just one playoff series in 22 years with the A's. That is one less than the M's have won in that time frame. That's right the M's who haven't been to the playoffs in 18 years have still been a more succesful playoff team than Billy Beane's A's.
A damning statistic, for sure, but at least they get there.

If they started them Monday they could be done by yesterday if it only goes two games and today if it goes 3 games. It wouldn't have to extend the season a single day.

I am sure WC teams would prefer the punishment of less days off than only getting to play one game.

Just checked, prior to their 9-10 record against Oakland in 2019, the Mariners had 6 straight winning seasons against them, an oddity.
