So, only the guys who they made a movie about because he was so good at doing a lot with very little money, and Jerry. Sure, I get why guys defend him.

It would be even more interesting if instead of just WS trips, it was playoffs. I assume most of those guys have well more than two.

Sure, but what difference does it make? Terms of canning him you could have fired him last season based on this same evidence. He wasnt getting fired last season and i doubt he does this one

The difference is he deserves the criticism he is getting, and this is valid proof of that. I never understand your stance on "what does it matter" "take it up with Pete"...why are you here if you don't want to discuss?

Stanton didnt fire him for a single playoff appearance with one in ten years, or eleven or twelve or thirteen. So yeah, i wonder why it matters. I was wondering about just the sheer length of time hes been at it, regardless of making the playoffs or not. Maybe that would be a consideration. But what i get from that list is it doesnt really seem that unusual. So Stanton probably isnt concerned about that either

You look at THAT list, and see all the playoff appearances those GMs made, see that the ONLY GM that has fewer than Dipshito has a WS....and you think to our self "yep, not all that unusual". Good Lord.

I don't give a shit what Stanton is concerned with, this is a forum for fans. But if that fucker bothered to show up here, I imagine everyone but you and DV would ask why the fuck Dipshito has such a long rope.

Yeah, i like to look at the reality of a situation. Anybody can sit around making, I hate dipoto posts. What Im curious about is what actually would get him fired.
