Well, with the back end of our bullpen coming in it looks like it's the lowly Royals' turn to put a ten-spot on us.

Angie Mentink doing fluff pieces to distract us from the game. We appreciate the thought, Ang.
If Niehaus were alive, he’d be turning over in his grave.

Btw, what’s the opposite of “this is grand salami time?”

“This is liver and onions time!”

I’m waiting for the Ms to do a ‘designated fan’ promotion. A lucky ticket holder gets to don a uniform and come to bat in the bottom of the ninth in the next home blow out.

Chemistry’s so bad, there was a “ball girls only” meeting last night.

Tonight and his last start notwithstanding, Bailey is another one of those guys who got the big contract and then immediately lost his talent. At least we get one or two good years out of our flops before we get Figged.

What's really pathetic, is we're going to lose a series vs the fucking Royals...possibly get swept.

You watch all these horrible relief pitchers and the record-breaking amount of double-digit ERAs they're carrying, and one wonders...are any of them going to be here next year?

If this holds up, this will be Homer Bailey's best game since 6/29/14 (complete game shutout). This is the best game he's had in FIVE YEARS.
