And there is the defense. Doesn't show up as an error, but causes Elias to have to pitch 3 more pitches. Hopefully that wasn't too much that SS feels Elias can't pitch another inning.

Just came up to watch the finish and was greeted by Beckham battling a foul pop, and losing.

that is the issue, errors are just the tip of the iceberg, its all the plays not being made, the balls getting through the infield, not being caught in the outfield, poor relay plays...things like that

I agree, and have said as much numerous times. Just pointing it out, for probably the 7-8th time, that a dumb play by Beckham doesn't count as an error
