Gee, what a nice game I didn’t see, throw in Pitch Count Blowers and either “dude’s hitting a buck and change” Sims, or Goldsmith and his son’s “t-ball trivia,” ya Got a Whale of a Night!

No hitter... down 13-0. Figured I'd chime in.

How the hell does a team pitch a no-hitter in such a blowout???

Most are like 2-0, 1-0, when the guy has to Bear Down to eke it out!

Without researching it, I think this is the second time in the history of major league baseball where two pitchers have combined on a no-hitter with only one baserunner. The other time it was Ernie Shore and some guy called Babe Ruth.

The two pitchers tonight both had ERAs of almost five coming into tonight's game.

This is almost as bad as the Humber Game.

Whatever. Angels were on an emotional high, and it was the first game off the AS break, so may be a timing issue fir some. Who knows if some Mariners realized that this was a bigger thing than just one game and subconsciously maybe gave in to the moment.

This was a real life "angels in the outfield" moment. I know we are all Mariners fans, but in a season like this, how can you really be that upset with this? Losses aren't necessarily a bad thing right now.

Worst part about this is it may hurt Leake's trade value. He's always had 1 bad game every 4-5 starts though, that's just who he is.

The last combined MLB no-hitter thrown in the state of California? July 13, 1991. Which was Skaggs' birthdate.

Was that in the top 10 for most lop-sided losses in MLB history?

At least as far as I'm concerned this was a Top 10 unwatchableshitshow. I quit watching in the bottom of the 1st inning since weeding the yard looked like much more fun by then.
