How was it?
Overwrought garbage like most of the movies he has directed in recent years.
Ah, the erudite film critic from the New Yorker has weighed in...
Sorry, I'm just not a fan of mindless or gratuitous violence disguised as art.

I'd put it above Django and Hateful 8, but way behind Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, well behind Kill Bill and juat behind Inglorious Basterds. There actually was very little violence in it until the end, and yes it was stupid and childish revisionist history. Sometimes it works in his films (like Kill Bill) and sometimes it's just stupid (like Hateful 8).

Interesting. Thanks. I have noticed when you put two A+++ list actors in the same move it usually disappoints at least a bit.

Get this I was watching and episode of "King of Queens" yesterday and the episode was about Carrie being a terrible Bowler on Doug's bowling team and the sponsor of the team was demanding more wins or he would pull the sponsorship. So Doug says, "Either I kick my wife off the team or we lose our sponsorship, this is like Sophie's Choice!" Deacon says, "well not really, she had to choose which child to give to the Nazis". Dougs says, "Ok, that was worse."

I had never seen the movie so I then searched for it and found it and spent the next 2.5 hours watching it. lol

Those two were at the top of their game. The film is worth watching just for those two and the Bruce Lee scene that I guarantee will have you busting up laughing.
