It's about 90 degrees in Fresno at 3:30pm . I'm gonna run down to Vasilia to watch Julio and the Modesto Nuts play tonight. Only about 40 miles and they play in a couple hours. I see J.Rod had a couple more hits last night. He's making a mockery of the California League..... but it's only been a couple weeks.

The guy he got the single off of is going to be 24 next month so he is about 5.5 years older than Julio!

People like to say yeah Ackley, Zunino, Smoak, Pax, Hultzen and Walker were all hot prospects but be honest, was anyone here really excited about those guys. I was not.

JRod is super exciting - saw a story about him a year ago it seemed with him standing next to Cruz and he seemed taller and you could just tell that when this kid fills out he'll be bigger than Cruz. He's the guy i'm looking forward most to see if they turn out - he could be our next 40-50hr threat in a few years. If both turn out as we hope, having Jrod and Kelenic in the OF for years to come should work well for us. Not sure who will be pitching but our hitting sure seems to have a bright future.

Marco
Kirby
Kikuchi
Sheff
and if any of those 6 falter we can go FA or perhaps, Dunn, Carlson, Campbell, Newsome or even Then can rise to the occasion.
