Who the fvck is Mike Ford? This year's version of Luke Voit, apparently. Amazing how these nobodies turn into sluggers when they put on the pinstripes.

Before a ST game in 2018 Astroknott and I had a bet that the M's would hit one HR. Ford hit on deep to LF but it hit off the top of the wall. I lost the bet. Worse yet I would have used the dollar to buy a winning powerball ticket. I would be worth a few hundred million right now if Mike Ford had never been born.

Ford hit 15 home runs in 367 at-bats for AAA Scranton/Wilkes-Barre last year. That's 1 home run every 24.5 at-bats. But put him in pinstripes and all of a sudden he is the new Sultan of Swat.

Same with Gio Urshela. -1.1 bWAR in there seasons, puts on pinstripes and he's at 3.4 this far this season.
Even Cameron Maybin is putting up good numbers for them.
Meanwhile, Fraley now 2-17 and missing fastballs right down the middle.
