Current innings totals:

Woo 99
Hancock 98
Miller 105

No difference between going with Woo over Hancock....
I think they want to give Woo a better chance at pitching into September, so giving Hancock a few starts to give him a rest let’s him come back and get 4-5 starts well rested in September

Oh that's right they think Sept games count more than any other month.

Or they think they have better chance to get good games from Woo if he gets a little rest, and they think Hancock has a good chance to do well also. If he does, then you have a good problem at hand and you have 3 rookie pitchers in the off-season with MLB experience to shop.

I’ve found that whatever they do you are going to complain. They did the same thing with Kirby last year. They’ve never shown they will shut someone down after a certain amount of innings off they are still going strong, but they will use caution, and I don’t see why it’s that big of a deal?

Oh great a rookie pitcher, we be lucky to get more than 1 hit tonight. Yes I am surprised we are favored as well
San Diego starter Nick Martinez is a 33-year-old veteran who entered the 2023 season with four years of MLB service:
