Mitch Haniger now hitting .227 with an on-base% of .308. My god is this guy mediocre for all the accolades he has received. The only thing he's better at than Michael Saunders is staying healthy.

His plate discipline has been horrible. Swinging at everything under the sun.

And when he does get hit with a patience spell its on a fastball down the middle.

Too many players trying to carry the load offensively, perhaps, rather than trusting in their teammates. Besides, it has to be deflating when the pitching staff puts them in a massive hole early in half the games.

Just trade anyone with value. Its clear we don't have the pitching to do anything significant. Need a lot more pitching in the MInors as well. Also could use some more infield.

Question is, do you trade Gonzales or keep him? I'm not sure he brings back a huge haul like Haniger could. If he does then trade him.
