He's being interviewed by an Atlanta reporter, who gives a shit what he tells them. He's ecstatic to be a Brave, that's nice. I would be too, it's a great organization. Isn't that what we spend our time doing, complaining about what a crappy organization the mariners are?

I don't see what the big deal is. He's saying nice things about the team he's just been traded to, which is what you're supposed to do.

Though generally speaking, I think the Royals are a good organization, more success than the mariners in a tougher situation

I have a feeling Kelenic is justified in wanting to be out of Seattle, and the Mariners are probably also happy he's out of Seattle.

They played great when he was gone last season. Then they traded him off for salary relief in the offseason. Maybe that's unrelated.

Hopefully he can have a good career. The Mariners never should have given in to the nerd pressure to bring him up so early. Then he tanks, it kills him psychologically, and he never could recover.

I didn't like having him here because there were better options available on the market instead of handing him the position and costing us games in three very important seasons, but none of that was Kelenics fault.

In my opinion they're 3 years into their "window", and they've squandered all 3 by not adding that extra player it's been obvious they needed.

This season feels no different, unfortunately. We're counting on a "higher floor" to elevate us into the playoffs instead of a "higher ceiling".

Sure, there's a trend here. They are never going to add that extra player. It's not part of the process. It's dealing with each position with what they believe nesssary. They have dealt with pitching pretty nicely, but I don't think they have thrown resources at it.

Same as any GM in baseball. None of them are going to show a lack of faith in a player even before the season starts
