Damn, Hancock was one borderline strike 3 from escaping, then that happened...
What is wrong with the umps this year? This ump has no clue what the strike zone is. Has called 3 balls strikes already... squeezed Hancock twice that inning.

And to think, Blake Snell practically begged us to sign him.

Are they still doing the automated strike zone in the minors? Is it working? If so, what's the holdup, MLB?

Bad/inconsistent strike calls are a tradition that needs to end. We can all see which calls are right or wrong, making it double-annoying.

Well at least Moore and Rojas did something. Got us a run back. Brewers despite one mistake playing very tough defense. Gonna need Hancock to settle down. PLEASE DONT BE A BUST!

And JP continues to blow ass.

They stuck him in the 9 hole last year after a bad start and then were forced to lead him off after injuries right?

Maybe do that again.

You can't have a sub .200 leadoff hitter.

He has just 3 walks in 41 plate appearances... is now hitting like .130 with .220 OBP.

Both starters are struggling today. Seems like it’s gonna come down to which one sucks less.
