There's about a 400 foot gap between 2b and 1b... and Julio is swinging out of his ass trying to pull everything with 2 strikes.

Julio misses the ball with his giant homerun swing.

If I was his coach, and he would listen, I'd have him choke up on the bat with 2 strikes like a little leaguer, and tell him to just make contact.

Hey only 3 strikeouts in the first for the Mariners.

Could be worse. Catcher might have missed the ball and runner got to first, then a 4th Mariner could have struck out.

Yea and hitting coaches won't fix it. Thier job is safe though Jerry sticks it in them and Scott every night. Can't lose his butt buddies.

Yea that's what good coaches would do. Jerry doesn't know how to hire and it shows. Julio is sucking it up with the rest cause of all the hurt asses from Scott after the game. Probably popping good amount of Viagra waiting for them after the game another job well done!
