Remember debating whether to trade for Polanco or Kepler. Welp Kepler has a .952 OPS and Polanco is at .594. Guess Jerry chose wrong like he does EVERY single time with position players...

No pitching no defense no offense. Your 2024 Seattle Mariners.

Fuck yes great game. Getting blown out. Another 15 strikeout game. Our best pitcher got murdered today. Series against Oakland will be fun. They can hit and scoring a ton. 20 runs in one game. Mariners can't even do that in a series. Really hope this series is not a downfall. Will see with this weekend.

Woo starts tomorrow. Need him to do what he has been doing in his rehab starts. Gonna be tough. Oakland is actually scoring a ton of runs right now.

Phoenix Suns fire their coach after 1 year on the job. Brought them to the playoffs, early exit.

Meanwhile Servais has gotten to jerk us around for a decade.

Zero coaches should be retained in 2025. The entire team is a joke.

Except that if we'd traded for Kepler, their OPSs right now would probably be reversed. We just have the opposite of the Midas Touch in that everything we touch turns to shit.

And that also works in reverse. Nelson Cruz was clearly declining in his last season with us and then with the Twins his OPS jumped from .850 to 1.031/.992/.907 in his three seasons there.

Twice in the last week the Oakland Athletics have scored 20 runs in a single day.

Who saw that coming?

Nope, Kepler would have wilted here in the heavy marine layer air, gone completely mental because one fly ball died at the wall....and Polanco would have signed somewhere else and won a Silver Slugger.
