I went to the Angels/Royals game tonight, and an Angel lineup with a bunch of who-the-hell-are-these-guys put up a nine-spot and are well ahead of us on offense statistically, although part of that was Trout.
And here tonight our guys roll over against a guy who will likely never have a better game than tonight. Some bad luck and great D on the A'ss part didn't help.
If Julio played LF or RF, he wouldn't even have a 0.0 WAR right now. It's mind-boggling how bad he is, and his season is already close to being ruined.

I went to the game tonight...
One thing is painfully evident, I don't think Julio will hit his potential until he gets a mean streak in him. Dude spends the entire game giggling and interacting with kids in the stands and making x's in the outfield with the no fly zone...
Dude needs to put his head down and learn to dominate... that's what I loved about ARod and Griffey... they weren't polite little school girls. They wanted to kill you the minute they stepped on that field.
Something else that pissed me off... top 9 after the A's had taken an 8-1 lead. A's hitter rockets a liner that the A's 1B coach avoids... the 1B coach gets right back to his job. Ty France and Jorge Polanco are trying to get his attention to joke with him about how funny him avoiding the baseball was...
Some competitive fire this team has.

I don't necessarily agree with the first point this guy mentions but he makes a great point about the pitching coaches/lab and the hitting coaches. Pitching coaches get all the credit but the hitting coaches can't be called out????

I don't blame any one entity... it's the culture around offense as a whole.
It's why I want a regime change.
When you've been outscored by 15 runs by a team with a $63 million payroll... it's not talent. It's culture. It's a culture that doesn't foster success with the bat.
