Fuck that. If Miller started we would have won. End of story. Tomorrow he will only go 3.2 and Root sports will excuse it because he was out of sync because he isn't used going on 5 days rest.Lonnie In Colorado wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 12:52 amBlame whoever you want, but that game was won for the Giants by that damn homeplate ump who had no clue what a freakin' strike is!

Was there a doubt that was gonna happen?
They have a bunch of Pen goobers now that they start to hit.
Great assemblage Jerry.

Jerry's 54% mantra results in 45%. This game was proof of that. Save Bryce Miller for his early Oct vacation. His GF will be happy and satisfied while the fan base cries and Stanton counts the money.

Tough loss. Once we escaped the 9th I thought we had a chance. Needed a big hit from Julio in the 11th and then 1 more out. One that could have easily went our way. 3-5 is a tough start.....ugh

So thankful I didn't watch a second of this game. After watching the first 3 games of the A's series, told me everything about this team is needed to know. I can't stand this ownership group. They've ruined this team for me.D-train wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 12:57 amFuck that. If Miller started we would have won. End of story. Well, nothing is guaranteed and Miller could have laid an egg, it was just a lot more unlikely that he would have. I still can't believe management made that stupid decision. Once they did that, the game became predetermined and fate was going to make the umpire stupid in the Gnats' favor.Pharmabro wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 5:56 am100DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 05, 2025 12:44 amIt's impossible to quantify how many wins management will add or subtract from a team's win total, but i think that today we can say with almost 100% certainty that management cost us one by inexplicably putting Castilo out there when it was completely unnecessary.
