Apparently Bregman and Boras want to meet with the M's.
Interesting.
Interesting.

The Locked On guys suggested these guys as relief pitcher targets:
1. Luke Weaver, RHP (Free Agent)
2. Shawn Armstrong, RHP (Free Agent)
3. Matt Strahm, LHP (Phillies, one year left on deal)
4. Tyler Rogers, RHP (Free Agent)
5. Hunter Harvey, RHP (Free Agent)
I think Luke Weaver or Shawn Armstrong would be outstanding.

Relievers they used to have.GL_Storm wrote: ↑Wed Dec 10, 2025 11:30 pmThe Locked On guys suggested these guys as relief pitcher targets:

Ironic.
I have a post from years ago stating I thought Luke Weaver could be a very good reliever. It's a shame the M's didn't listen.

Its called trying to create leverage but it is pointless because every org knows there is negative infinity chance they will sign him.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Wed Dec 10, 2025 11:13 pmApparently Bregman and Boras want to meet with the M's.

Fairly mediocre year, at Fenway no less.
The guy has Boras balls to give up what, $82 million?
After That year?
How nice it was growing up in the 50s, not rooting to see who’s the highest paid prostitute.
Re: The official Hot Stove League Thread 2025-26 Offseason
M's have no interest in Bregman because they have a rookie that had a .600 OPS and a 20 year old that has played a handle of game in AAA all set to handle 3B.

He had a first half OPS of .927 and then got hurt on July 11th with a quad injury... followed with a .727 OPS 2nd half.Hy Feiber wrote: ↑Thu Dec 11, 2025 1:17 amNo chance they should.D-train wrote: ↑Thu Dec 11, 2025 1:13 amIts called trying to create leverage but it is pointless because every org knows there is negative infinity chance they will sign him.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Wed Dec 10, 2025 11:13 pmApparently Bregman and Boras want to meet with the M's.

He also hit far better on the road vs at Fenway which is only a boost for him.
In any event, he's a 5-WAR 3B over 162 which is worth $40M a year.

People are openly cheering for Colt Emerson to be the opening day 3B.
Jeremy Krom Tweets: "they want that draft pick."
Yeah, apparently a hell of a lot more than a World Series.
JFC what are we doing?

Say what you will about our FO but they definitely have a lot of faith in their prospects or their just cheap. I know I'd much rather win with a bunch of youngsters as opposed to overpaid vets. That being said if you can double up with Donovan & Baez I'm all in. If it's gonna cost that much to re-acquire Marte I'm switching to plan B.
