“From the right side, he’s been phenomenal, which is the side he’s spent the most time on,” Dipoto said. “And when he’s flipped left, it’s been a little bit of a tougher transition. … We’re going to continue to try to introduce like one reliever outing in between (starts), where he gets 20 pitches, 25 pitches as a lefty, to make sure we’re not losing that part of what is a super special skill set

Re: 2025 Prospects Thread
Would like to see the M's call up Michael Hobbs and Matt Cronin.
Hobbs has a .73 ERA in Arkansas w. 15.3 K's per 9.
Cronin 1.32 ERA between Arkansas and Tacoma, power arm.
I just do not understand why Bazardo and Thorton hold roster spots. They fucking suck.
They DFA pitchers multiple times over but Bazardo gets to have a 5.09 ERA?

Re: 2025 Prospects Thread
there's no reason for Montes to still be in Everett and same with Felnin in Modesto. Get those two to Arkansas already. The more AA ABs the better.
To the comment about help at AA-AAA, M's have essentially called up the guys that are of note -- Williamson, Rivas, Taylor -- I think Harry Ford is the next to watch for along with Locklear. Cole Young had a great second half with Ark last yr and my guess is he's a full season to show it kind of player.
My current t10 M's prospects
1 Celesten
2 Farmelo (gets bump over Laz for CF and SB potential)
3 Montes
4 Emerson
5 Sloan
6 Ford
7 Young
8 Arroyo
9 Locklear
10 Peete

Just checked Sunday's Everett box and I guess it's starting to get fun up there, eh?
How about this for a lineup?
Farmelo cf 1-5 3b 2 rbi
Emerson ss 2-5 HR 3 rbi 2 runs
Arroyo 2b 2-5 2HR 3 rbi 2 runs
Montes rf 0-4
Suisbel 3b 2-4
Peete lf 2-4 HR bb, 2 rbi
I've never seen an affiliate so loaded. For anyone in WA, you've got to get up to Everett to see this team. Hell, if you're in Spokane, see them when they're in town and same with Tri-Cities

Re: 2025 Prospects Thread
They are so obsessed with L/R matchups it isn't surprising. They would pinch hit for prime Edgar with Miles M. because a RH reliever came in.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Mon May 05, 2025 2:38 amThey don't seem to be in a hurry to decide that

I have dubbed the first 4 the Fab 4. A 2027 OF of Julio/Farmelo/Montes will feed giant herds of Dinosaurs.Vogelbomb wrote: ↑Mon May 05, 2025 10:07 amJust checked Sunday's Everett box and I guess it's starting to get fun up there, eh?

There's your starting Lineup in 2027. Yes, every single player is going to workout, and they aren't going to trade any of them at the deadline for a .750 OPS guy with 1 year on his contract...
Bench will be Ford C, Robles 4th OF, and Moore (or equivelent).
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

Ford on the bench? Better to trade him. If White and JK had worked out they'd be in pretty good shape today
