Apparently the M's have talked to the Phillies about Bohm.
They asked for Kirby or Gilbert.
This is what you get when you tell the world you're poor and only add talent via trade.

I normally never agree with Salk but he nails this one. I am totally out on Bohm as well. The fact that the Phillies asked for Kirby and Gilbert tells you how little respect they have for Jerry and our poverty franchise.

Gilbert - 77.3
Kirby - 103.9
Bohm - 26.2
To start there is insulting but I'm guessing what they really want is a Miller or Woo

It's always felt to me like a move that would be made out of desperation. I'd rather the team make no move at 3B and just plug the hole for now.D-train wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2024 6:48 pmI normally never agree with Salk but he nails this one. I am totally out on Bohm as well. Yep if they would have done that last season we would have made the playoffs. Hopefully Jerry learns his lesson. Fans will go ballistic but that's why he gets paid the big bucks.GL_Storm wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2024 9:06 pmIt's always felt to me like a move that would be made out of desperation. Same thing we've been saying for 5 years in a row now.
Somehow they always find themselves one player short of being an actual contender.

Seems like the “Same Ol’, Same Ol’ which boils down to management not willing to pony up financially what it likely takes to realistically swim in the deep end .

Yep we could just copy and paste all of our posts from the past 4 off seasons. Not sure what the point is though. There is no new info. Just a broken record describing their ineptitude so I am done. Doesn't mean I excuse any of it but I am going to try to talk about things other than the sun is hot and water is wet and the people running this franchise are weak ass bitches.bpj wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2024 9:55 pmSame thing we've been saying for 5 years in a row now.

They’re going to get a couple prospects and like Hancock. No established talent. They benched the fucker.
