A few of what flattening the curve looks like can be seen in British Columbia. It looked hopeful a week ago. At this point, the active cases can be said to have plateaued. Active cases peaked at 482 (1013 confirmed, 507 recovered, 24 dead). Since then the active cases have been 435, 449, 466, 461, 445, 443. The growth rate in new cases per day has been 4.4%, 5.2%, 5.2%, 4.7%, 2.5%, 5.2%, 2.0%.
My observation is that if the growth rate gets down to around 5%, then you have things under control. Above that, you still have a growing problem, but if it is not growing too quickly, you have time to react. I am hopeful that using plasma of recovered patients will have a positive effect. This is being tested in the U.S. and in Canada now. I doubt that is a cure, but it could mitigate things.

Trump is right so much that I won't even be surprised when Mexico cuts a check for the wall after this.

If he would have recommended against using it they would have trumpeted it as the greatest wonder miracle drug in the history of medicine and that he was letting people die by not promoting it. You know it, I know it and even they know it.

Regarding the Mexican funded wall: I don't know what the latest is on finding El Chapo's money, which could be as much as $14 billion, but that would actually be a totally clever way to build the wall and "make Mexico pay for it."

There is word about military operations south of the border (and within our borders), to take down human trafficking, no doubt they could sweep up a couple druglords at the same time, maybe find that money.

More great news. Pretty sad we can come to a mariners baseball website and get information that was spot on, when the talking heads would have scoffed at any model predicting under 100k deaths.
Should open some peoples eyes that still trust the news. STOP BELIEVING THE TV and NEWSPAPER. Judas priest.
You have to search for the truth. They dont even allow it to be in the top search results when you do finally have your eyes opened.
Being blind isn't the persons fault until they're faced with the truth and still keep their eyes closed.
Some people are beyond helping because even when they see this truth, they'll run back to the party that controls the chaos because theyre so programmed that everything Trump does is bad. Sad.
